From a young age, Isabelle understood that business was about more than transactions. Growing up in her mother’s hair salon, she absorbed lessons that would shape her life’s work. Each morning, her mother reminded her that it was a beautiful day to make life better. That was not just a pep talk but a way of life. By helping in the salon after school, Isabelle learned to listen to people not only through their words but also through their silences, their energy, and their body language. “I realized very early on that people reveal just as much in what they do not say as in what they do,” she said. By her early teens she had come to a key conclusion: positioning is everything.
The journey has not been without challenges. Isabelle and Margarita have been partners in both life and business for more than three decades, which brings unique demands. They made a deliberate decision early on to treat their relationship as their most valuable client. That philosophy inspired their TEDx Talk on increasing units of happiness and became a guiding principle at LeapZone. “If we did not care for our relationship with the same intention we gave to clients, everything else would suffer,” Isabelle explained.
