The other day someone asked me: “Okay Isabelle… wh The other day someone asked me:
“Okay Isabelle… what’s the cost?”

And I smiled, because I know what they mean.

They’re asking: “What do I pay if I say yes?”
Fair question.

But here’s what I’ve learned (and it’s changed my entire relationship with charging and investing):

I always respond with this:

“Just to clarify… are you asking what it costs if you say YES…
or what it costs if you say NO?”

Because “no” isn’t free.
It just charges you differently.

"NO" can cost you:
- another year of dragging the same problem
- another quarter of unclear messaging
- more missed opportunities
- more stress on your team
- more time spent rebuilding from scratch

Sometimes the most expensive choice… is staying the same.

Next time you’re deciding, ask yourself:
What will “no” cost me over the next 6 months?
